IMC is a proud supplier to NASA and has participated in every Mars mission since 2000.

IMC is America’s leading producer of ceramic coaxial resonators – pressed from powder, fired and metallized in our own on-premises ceramic lab. All our products are proudly made in the USA, and our processes are AS9100 certified

Our Founder

Dennis R. Clark, 1944-2015

Dennis R. Clark was a mainstay of the California electronics community for over forty years. He was born in Woodbine, Iowa, and joined the US Navy in 1963 where he received extensive electronics and communications training. He served aboard the USS Rupertus during the Vietnam War and returned to Vietnam as a civilian contractor, specializing in communications systems.

Dennis attended Long Beach State on the G.I.Bill, and worked for a variety of electronics companies in Southern California before founding Integrated Microwave in 1982. IMC was the defining element of his life, and he was a tireless and dedicated business owner, involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations, marketing and finance. The IMC brand bears his personal imprimatur and is known throughout the world for innovation and quality.

Since Dennis’s death in 2015, Integrated Microwave has been operated by his wife, Mary Ellen Clark. The company is dedicated to continuing Dennis’s legacy of product excellence, business integrity and commitment to customer collaboration and support.

IMC is Founded

Dennis Clark founds Integrated Microwave Corporation with the mission of creating quality American-made filters.

1989

IMC is recognized as a Team #1 Preferred Supply Member for Ford Aerospace

IMC is given the distinction of a preferred supplier for demonstrating on-time delivery and high product quality.

1994

Expansion – From Tripp Court to Sorrento Valley Road

IMC moves to its own building in order to facilitate greater capacity.

1994

IMC Receives Wireless Design and Develop Technology Award

Wireless Design & Development awards IMC for its ceramic bandpass filters.

1995

Ceramic Technology Investment

The ability to manufacture its own ceramic resonators, sets IMC apart from other RF filter companies.

1999

IMC receives the High-Tech 200 Award

Imperial Bank and San Diego Business Journal recognize IMC in their High-Tech 200 Award and Recognition Program.

2005

IMC rolls out new MRP system

With the MRP system, IMC enhances organization of its inventory.

2013

IMC Receives its First Raytheon 4 Star Award

IMC receives its first of several 4 Star Award for supplier excellence.

2015

IMC becomes AS9100 Certified

Although IMC has maintained documentation of all products since the beginning, IMC becames AS9100 certified as a means to formally verify its quality system.

2015

New CEO – Mary Ellen Clark

Mary Ellen Clark has been a member of the IMC team for many years.  As CEO, she strives to improve customer satisfaction and on-time delivery while maintaining IMC’s dedication to quality.

2018

IMC Receives Raytheon 5 Star Award

IMC is a proud recipient for Raytheon 5 Star Award in recognition of supplier excellence.

2019

IMC upgrades MRP system

IMC upgrades its MRP system as a part of maintenance and process improvement.

2019

New CEO – Peter Carides

Peter Carides brings to IMC an extensive technology and managerial background in aeronautical and maritime communications.  As CEO, his goals are to increase corporate enterprise value by supporting product development for advanced military airborne networking, to fortify security and to enhance communication and productivity company-wide.
